Amy graduated from the University of Manchester with a BA(Hons) in Theological Studies in Philosophy and Ethics. She then went on to obtain a commendation in the Graduate Diploma in Law from BPP University and has plans to continue with her legal studies in the future.
Amy joined Appleman Legal Solicitors as a Mental Health paralegal in October 2018 and has gained experience in supporting clients detained under the Mental Health Act 1983 (as amended). Her role consists of conducting meetings with clients and assisting Solicitors with preparing cases for Mental Health Tribunals and Hospital Managers Hearings. Amy is motivated by helping vulnerable individuals and therefore thoroughly enjoys her work in this area.
